List Hosting Charity Golf Tournament for Children

Herndon, VA –List Innovative Solutions is excited to be sponsoring the inaugural “Hit the Links for Life” Golf Tournament on May 17th at the Reston National Golf Course. The goal of this scramble format tournament is to raise funds for children’s cancer research and all proceeds go to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training® Program.
As title sponsor, List will provide the initial funding to make the tournament possible as well as plan the event and solicit additional sponsorship and player entries. “There are many sponsorship opportunities available at several different levels for individuals and businesses” said Jim Thomas, tournament chair. “We feel like this is a great way to raise money for such a worthwhile cause and have a good time on the golf course.”
In addition to a great round of golf, the tournament will include raffles and prizes, a putting contest, long drive contest, hole-in-one contests, including the opportunity to win a new BMW. The day starts a shotgun start at 8 am and will conclude with lunch and awards.
